SITE CONDITION CHECK
- CW – Clear width, CH – Clear height
- HA – Headroom area, RSR – Right side room, LSR – Left side room
- FFL – Finished Floor Level
- Check the dimensions of the opening CW & CH with respect to the GA drawing provided to the client.
- Check that there are no pre-existing structures existing in HA, RSR & LSR that will obstruct the assembly of the shutter.
- For the correct and smooth operation of the rolling shutter, it is important that the surface on which the side guides and the side brackets are to be mounted is on the same surface level.
- Check the solidity of the structure where the rolling shutter has to be installed.
- Ensure secured anchorage to the structure by means of anchor bolts.
- In the case of insufficient or dubious solidity, it is necessary to create an adequate self-supporting metal frame.
SIDE GUIDE MARKING ON THE OPENING
- The side guide is made up of angle 1 and U guide fastened together with M8 Round head bolts & nuts.
- Hold both the angle 1 of the side guide near the Structure/wall such that after placing the guides the Outside distance between the two guides is equal to the dimensions “A” i.e. equal to barrel dimension A.
- Check the level of both guides using the plumb level.
- Once it is done, mark the TOP level of the guide. (Shown as ‘H’ in the adjacent figure).
- Hold the guide such that the opening distance between the two guides is equal to dimension ‘B’.
- Mark the bottom level of the guide (Shown as ‘L’ in the adjacent figure).
Top Cover Assembly
- Top cover assembly is made up of 3 sheets viz. top sheet, bottom sheet, front sheet.
- First fit the bottom sheet on barrel structure with Number 8 sheet metal screw.
- Then fit the front sheet.
- At last, fit the top sheet to complete the top cover assembly.
Electrical Connection
Fire-proof Rolling Shutter Control System – (Single-Phase)
Fire-proof rolling shutter control system CB-FRS 1P model is a kind of monocoque fire-proof rolling shutter control system. It has various functions such as fault automatic diagnosis, manual control, automatic response to fire detector signal, and fire center linkage signal. This control system is a substitute for common fire-proof control systems.
Major Functions
- Function of fault automatic diagnosis
- Function of manual control
- Function of automatic response to the fire detector signal and fire center linkage signal
- Function of roller shutter fast-release
- Function of silencer and reset
- External electronic lock box
- Linkage control signal from the fire service center
Performance Parameter
- Adjustable middle limit position with positional accuracy of ±10 cm
- System response time: <3.0 seconds
- Alarm volume: >85dB
- Emergency battery capacity: 12V 2.9Ah
- System power consumption: <15W
Fire-proof Rolling Shutter Control System – (Three-Phase)
Fire-proof rolling shutter control system CB-FRS 3P model is a monocoque fire-proof rolling shutter control system conforming to the Public Safety Industry Standard. It has various functions such as fault automatic diagnosis, manual control, automatic response to fire detector signal, and fire control linkage signal. This control system is a substitute for common fire-proof control systems.
Major Functions
- The function of fault automatic diagnosis
- function of manual control
- Function of automatic response to the fire detector signal and fire control linkage signal
- Function of roller shutter fast-release
- Function of silencer and reset
- External electronic lock box
- Linkage control signal from the fire service center
Performance Parameter
- Adjustable middle limit position with positional accuracy of ±10 cm
- System response time: <3.0 seconds
- Alarm volume: >85dB
- Emergency battery capacity: 12V 2.9Ah
- System power consumption: <15W
Commissioning and System Setup
- After installation and wiring, check the display panel for any faults or alarm sounds.
- Manually press the down button to verify that the roller shutter rolls down to the lower limit position automatically.
- Perform program control learning procedures using the dial switch to set the control system in the learning state.
- Follow the specified steps for setting the middle limit position, delaying time, escaping height, fast-release middle position, and finish learning.
- Record the operation process and repeat if any modifications are needed.
Notes
- Ensure proper grounding of the control box for security.
- Do not leave the control box in a powered-on state if the limit switch is not properly set and supervised.
- Perform routine checks three times a month when the control box is in use.
- When stopping the control box for a long time, remove the battery fuse to avoid damage.
- Contact the manufacturer or distributor for any faults or problems during installation or operation. Do not attempt unauthorized repairs.
